AGE : 28 YEARS AND ABOVE
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a
recognized University/Institution plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law
Possession of a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in Law or Management from a
recognized University/Institution will be an added advantage.
Applicants should have a minimum of six  years working experience in the field of Legal
Practice/Systems, three  of which should have been gained at the level of Senior Officer
(Legal) in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.
He/she should have the following competencies; teamwork, time management,
interpersonal relations, self management, accountability, ethics and integrity,
communication, result oriented and customer care.
The incumbent will be responsible to the Deputy Registrar, Education and Public Affairs for
performing the following duties:
Preparing and implementing programs for continued education of the Judicial Officers.
Publishing books and pamphlets on law and administration of justice.
Providing legal education to the general public through courses, seminars and radio and
television talk shows.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
