Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

The applicant should possess a Master’s degree in Education, preferably in Primary and or/non-education methods.
Eight or more years’ experience in developing and implementing learning programs, five (5) of which must be in a similar position
Experience in using the ECCD approach
Experience in Team leadership, capacity building for partners and staff and working with people from diverse cultures
Extensive skills and experience in designing, planning, monitoring and evaluation of learning programmes and projects;
Practical experience in proposal writing and fundraising
Experience in national level education advocacy and policy influence
Excellent report writing skills, good communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker with strong facilitation skills
Past exposure and experience and skills in budget management
Computer literacy skills i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
The candidate must have experience in developing education programs for formal and non-formal sector, with strong community education background and Early Childhood knowledge is essential.
